1. What Hardware and Software prerequisites are required to run StructuRad Products?
A. We recommend the following configuration:
- Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz or equivalent PC recommended
- Microsoft XP with Service Pack 2
- Internet Explorer 6.0 Web browser and Internet email account
- 2 GB RAM
- 6.0 GB free disk space to store and run the application
- Internet access with high-speed connection
- 1024x768 or better display
- If you are running a Windows XP operating system or prior, and you wish to use narrative speech recognition, then you must purchase Dragon Naturally Speaking 9 or 10.
- Microsoft Office® 2003 Professional Edition w/ SP3 or Microsoft Word® 2007
2. Do I need to purchase Dragon NaturallySpeaking with StructuRad products?
A. You must purchase Dragon separately if you want to use it for narrative speech recognition. StructuRad products have an embedded voice command-and-control feature for voice activation of macros.
3. What is the easiest way to get started with StructuRad products?
A. You can either purchase ReportNow or the trial offerings directly from our website. Once your purchase is recorded a StructuRad representative will contact you about your order for shipping and installation. 4. Can I implement any workflow with ReportNow?
A. Yes, StructuRad offers ReportNow to provide a widerange of workflow options. Contact StructuRad sales on options available for implementing workflow or integration with existing workflow.
5. Can I use StructuRad to create reports in Microsoft Word? What about other word processors?
A. Yes, ReportNow uses Microsoft Word® natively. ReportNow also supports copy/paste to other editors and word processing applications. The ReportNow export feature allows the user to create custom Word templates or other output formats such as .txt and .html for final reports.
6. Is there a specific type of Microsoft Word I must use in order to report in ReportNow?
A. Yes, ReportNow requires either Microsoft Word 2003 or 2007. Only the Word in Microsoft Office Professional 2003 w/ SP3 or Microsoft Word 2007 standalone will work with our software.
7. Can I fax from StructuRad products?
A. Yes, there are 3rd party options to allow faxing. StructuRad global services can assist with a fax implementation.
8. Can I get a complete list of all the macro templates?

9. What is the difference between StructuRad macros and the StructuRad knowledge base?
A. StructuRad macro is a complete or partial report that is comprised of node selections from the knowledge base and other repoort contents such as text, tables, charts, and images. The macros are stored in folders and are easily recalled for reporting and/or modification.
10. Can the StructuRad knowledge base be modified?
A. Yes, but not by an end-user under normal situations. Modification of the knowledge base would entail the licensing of the knowledge base design tool, enrollment in training curriculum for StructuRad internals, and perhaps some customization by our global services team. There are other more cost effective approaches to achieving efficient reporting. For example, limited substitutions of lexicon can be done via macros.
11. Do I need to be connected to the Internet to install ReportNow?
A. Yes, the ReportNow installation process includes automated checks of the installation process and verification of user license.
